A Sweet Dream Begins

Dadus Sweet Emporio was founded by Mr. Raman Dadu and Rusheel Dadu in Pune, their deep love for authentic Indian sweets became the foundation of a family legacy. What started as a small venture, fuelled by creativity and an uncompromising commitment to quality, grew steadily into a name trusted by generations of families, corporates and five-star hotels alike.

Today, that legacy is carried forward by the next generation of the Dadu family. Mr. Rusheel Dadu, Founder and Managing Director, leads Dadus with the same passion his father built the brand on, working closely alongside his wife and Co-Founder, Diksha Dadu, to shape the brand's future - from reimagining classic mithai for a new generation to building experiences that bring Indian sweets to the same table as the world's finest desserts.

The Dadus Sweet Emporio, Pune Story: 2015 to Today

Dadus arrived in Pune in 2015, bringing with it decades of sweet-making expertise and a promise to do things differently. In a city known for its discerning food culture, Dadus introduced artistic, designer dry-fruit sweets and hygienic, pure-veg bakery and confectionery, along with a level of presentation Pune's sweet shops hadn't seen before.

What started with a single flagship store has grown into five thriving outlets across the city, backed by a large, state-of-the-art production facility. Today, Dadus ships its mithai and namkeen across the globe, carrying the taste of Pune to Indian families wherever they've made their home.

Before Dadus, sweet marts in India were largely limited to traditional ghee- and khoya-based mithai. Dadus changed that, introducing artistic, designer dry-fruit sweets and hygienic, pure-veg bakery and confectionery to a market that had never seen them before. Our Exclusive Sweets Lounge, a live, curated dessert experience for weddings and celebratory events, has become a signature offering, establishing Dadus as one of the most sought-after dessert partners for high-profile events across Southern and Western India.

Our People and Our New Home

Behind every box of Mithai, is a team of 250+ people, artisans, chefs, quality specialists and store teams, dedicated to preserving our legacy while constantly pushing it forward.

To match our growth, we've built a new 1,00,000 sq. ft. facility: our Innovation and Experience Centre. More than a production unit, it's where Dadus designs the next generation of Indian sweets, combining state-of-the-art, SOP-certified kitchens with spaces built for recipe development, tasting experiences and hosting the partners and guests who shape our future.

Community and Devotion

Beyond business, we proudly began the initiative of offering Prasad at the revered Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple in Pune, extending our tradition of sweets into an offering of faith and community.
